This course provides comprehensive principles and techniques to effectively perform clandestine technical surveillance in the maritime environment while operating as part of a team or alone. Maritime Technical Surveillance enhances Physical Surveillance by giving students advanced techniques that will allow them to take advantage of static and progressive surveillance principles thereby reducing their exposure to adversaries. Technical surveillance improves personal protection by using greater stand-off and improves counter-surveillance and surveillance detection abilities. This course includes principles that will allow the student to refine target information in the operational environment.

Course Benefits and Description:

This course is designed to train qualified military operators, intelligence operators and law enforcement personnel who operate in the maritime environment in advanced techniques of technical surveillance. This course has extensive classroom and environmental practical exercises to ensure that technical surveillance skills are clearly understood, properly applied, and tested. The class will be required to conduct surveillances as well as determine operational objectives of those under surveillance. The course will culminate with a long-term Full Mission Profile that tests the class in all of the course skill-sets.
