Aerial Surveillance/Photography : 5 Days

This course provides comprehensive principles and techniques to effectively conduct fixed-wing aircraft surveillance principles during surveillance operations and thereby achieve minimal exposure and detection. Students will utilize an aerial platform to direct a surveillance team’s operational efforts by monitoring movement, effecting target location, providing route intelligence, developing target intelligence packages and using digital imaging techniques to supplement the team’s surveillance packages.

Course Benefits and Description:

This course is designed to train qualified military operators, intelligence operators, and law enforcement personnel in advanced techniques of aerial surveillance. It includes classroom and extensive street / aerial, combined practical exercises to ensure that aerial surveillance skills are clearly understood, properly applied, and tested. Students will be rotated from vehicular surveillance units to the fixed-wing aircraft units where they will be required to direct their team’s surveillance efforts during the course of daily exercises. Individual aerial surveillance skills will be assessed under operational conditions.
